By means of this model, the absorption and emission spectra of Er 3+ ions in germanate glass measured at 13K in a conventional way were analyzed systematically and the Stark splittings of the manifolds from 4I 15/2 to 2H 9/2 were determined. %K Er %K 3+ %K ion %K glass %K Stark splitting %K crystal field
