%X The state of the art in the field of passive millimeter wave imaging techniques was described. Theoretical and technical analyses of the advanced focal plane array and interferometry synthesis array imaging systems were highlighted. The conceptual design of a novel digital radiometer system, which employs interferometric synthesis approach in the 8mm wavelength range was presented. The application perspective was briefly discussed.
