%X A novel 1-formyl-2-pyrazoline was synthesized by reaction of an ¦Á,¦Â- unsaturated ketone with hydrazine hydrate and formic acid. The structure of the title compound was established by UV, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and microanalysis.
