%X According to the error translation rule, an error estimation of the divergence of current is given, and is applied to calculating the horizontal divergence of current in the equatorial center-eastern Pacific. The results show that the horizontal divergence of annual mean current in the equatorial center-eastern Pacific is steady, and the mean divergence is about 3.0×10-7 s-1. The error estimation is smaller than the usual error estimation, and hence the reliability is increased.
