%X In pure culture system, the differences among degradative rates of parathion methyl, parathion, fenitrothion, fenpropathrin, deltamethrin, fenvalerate, permethrin, cyhalothrion, and cyperthrin by the broad spectrum bacterial strain Alcaligenes sp. YF11 are mainly caused by the n octanol water partition coefficient (log K ow ). A linear relation between the rates (K) and n octanol water coefficients(log Kow) has been obtained as follow: log K=2.21-0.26 log Kow, r=0.9739.
