The effects of initial pH value,adsorbent dosage and reaction temperature on Cu2+ adsorption were evaluated. The kinetics of Cu2+ adsorption onto modified P. pectinatus L. fit a pseudo-second-order equation well. The adsorption data fit the Langmuir isotherm model rather than the Freundlich isotherm.
