%X The effects of Dadeci (deltamethrin mix-fbrmulated pesticide) on a rice field-fish pond aquatic ecosystem were studied. Owing to the low application dose, the adhering effect of the plants, the adsorption on suspended matter and soil and the transformation of the pesticide, the actual conce- ntrations of deltamethrin in water of the rice field and the surrounding fish ponds decreased to such a level that no harmful effects on fishes could be found. The transportion, the degradation and the transformation of the pesticide in the aquatic system, the toxicity related distribution and frac-tionation of deltamethrin in fish body were studied and discussed as well.
