%X The necessity of using the artificial neural network to obtain the knowledge automatically in the intelligent decision support system of air pollution total emission control planning (ISAPEC) is expounded.A process of designing and achieving automatic acquisition of the knowledge in ISAPEC is introduced.The function of the automatic acquired knowledge is tested through a case study.
