%X Production of activated carbon, sodium sulfate and furfural using black liquor from straw pulp (ASF process) was investigated. The experimental results showed that after one liter of 7-8 Be' black liquor from reed pulp was acid hydrolysis carbonized under low pressure, 20gLY216-79 prime activated carbon could be produced. Na2SO4. 10H2O was able to be separated by filtration, evaporation, and crystallization of the filtrate. More than 40g of HG1-520-67 secondary Na2SO4 could be produced from the Na2SO4 · 10H2O. The vapor from the evaporation of the filtrate could be used to recover 3.2 g of GB1926-80 secondary furfural. After the processing, more than 95 % of CODCr and 99% of colourity were removed from the black liquor.
