%X The in-situ test of rapid infiltration treatment system of municipal wastewater was carried out in Poyang for about 3 months. The results showed that the system had excellent removal ability to nitrogen and organic matter. There was a microbial adaptation period in the early operating stage. The best removal effect to contaminants could be reached through adjusting the hydraulic load cycles while the system maintained certain hydraulic load.
