%T Oxidation damage of formaldehyde inhalation on rat multiple organs

%X To study the possible mechanisms of oxidative damages in rat multiple organs induced by gaseous formaldehyde, rat was exposed at formaldehyde concentration of 13.5?mg/m~3 for 7 days and 4 hrs per day.Results showed that formaldehyde inhalation caused the significance increase in levels of GSH,GSH-PX and MDA in peripheral of male rat blood.No significant difference could be observed for the concentration of GSH,GSH-PX,MDA and SOD in lung,liver and brain. These results indicate that the level of GSH,GSH-PX and MDA in peripheral blood may be as early exposure biomarkers of formaldehyde in inhalation pathway.
