%X Considering the influence of thermal stratification in deep lakes or reservoirs in temperate regions, a couple of models including a two box model (i.e.a summer model) and an one box model (i.e. a winter model) for fish cage culture in Miyun Reservoir was established. The result of model validation shows that the models are not only available and sensitive enough for describing and predicting the water quality of the concerned reservoire, but also applicable to other reservoirs in similar situations.
