%T URINARY 1-HYDROXYPYRENE AS AN INDICATOR OF EXPOSURE TO POLYNUCLEAR AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS<br>尿中1-羟基芘的研究——人体接触多环芳烃的指标

%X A procedure for isolation and determination of 1-hydroxypyrene in urine using reversed High pressure chromatography-fluorescence detector was modified and the method needs only 10ml of urine sample and the detection limit is 0.047 ng for 1-hydroxypyrene. The method was applied to measure the urine samples from the coke oven workers, the traffic policemen and a control group. The results showed that the highest content of -urinary 1-hydroxypyrene was found in the samples from the coke oven workers, followed by the traffic policemen. There was no significant difference between smokers and non-smokers in the control group. The relation between the urinary 1-hydroxypyrene of the coke oven workers and air content of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons at their working area was discussed and it was suggested that the former might be an indicator of the exposure to polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons.
