%X The degradation and the transmission of (14)C-phoxim in potting soil after mixing the chemical with the soil were studied. The phoxim in the soil was uptaken by roots of wheat plants and transmitted to the organs above the ground. The leave residue of the phoxim was disappeared through transpiration,metabolization and photo-dissociation. The residual phoxim in soil is either decomposed into CO2 or evaporated together with soil water
