向晓东 %A 幸福堂 %A 陈旺生 %A 涂虬 %J 环境科学学报 %D 1997 %I %X A mathematical model for the pressure drop of granular bed filter under the dust filtration condition was developed on the basis of the pressure gradient equation proposed by Mehter et al . The model shows that the pressure drop in the process of dust filtration relates to the initial pressure drop and the dust depositing rate. From the experiment of the filtration of talc powder in the bed of quartz granules, the dust depositing rate was determined. The equation for the pressure drop of granular bed given in this paper can be employed to choose the filtration velocity and to estimate the dust loading for deciding the cleaning methods of granular bed. %K granular bed filter %K filtration condition %K pressure drop %K dust depositing rate
