%X The spatial distribution of pollutants in lakes is required in the study of lakes. The key issue is the spatial optimal estimation. This paper elaborated the characteristics of Kriging variance and analyzed systematically the accuracy of Kriging estimation on water quality parameters of lakes in the light of a practical example of Taihu Lake. The accuracy of estimation was determined by many factors such as variogram, distribution of sampling sites and so on, and was not related to the values of sampling data.
