%X Based on analysing the mechanism of filtration through a granule layer and the factors affecting the dust collection efficiency of a granule layer moving bed filter, an orthogonal multi-factor method was used in a laboratory apparatus to preliminarily study the effects of the factors such as the filtration velocity, the size and type of particles, the bed thickness, and the dust load of granule layer, on the dust collection efficiency. Then, a demonstration was made in an industrial pilot plant. The results showed that the suitable filtration velocity was 0. 2m/s, the particle size in the moving bed was preferred in 1-2mm,and the bed thickness should be equal to or slightly more than 150mm.
