%X Based on the synthetical analysis of lightning and Doppler radar echo data from a severe rain storm event in Shanxi Province on 16 August 2005,it is found that there is well relationship between lightning frequency and radar echo intensity.In the different developing phases of the radar echo,the lightning location is sometime consistent with the position of intensive radar echo,and some time away from the position of intensive radar echo;sometime even no lightning occurs.Through analyzing the velocity echo ...
