%X Long period of irradiated polyethylene strectched and thermally treated under different conditions has been studied by small-angle X-ray scattering.It is shown that long period reduces when the samples are stretched at room temperature. However it increases after thermal treatment. These results can be explained by the breakdown of crystalline structure at first and recrystallization afterwards.
