%X The caramel in molasses alcohol wastewater was simulated with synthesized diploid caramel, and the decolorizing kinetics of its oxidation degraded by low-grade pyrolusite studied. The effects of reaction temperature, pyrolusite dosage, initial concentration of caramel and sulphuric acid on the decolorizing rate of caramel were investigated.
