%X Taking Spirulina cells as the model, experiments were carried out on a novel and effective slant-armed bubble column to investigate the feasibility of foam flotation of micro-algal cells. The effects of a number of operation parameters such as carrying-gas flow rate, solution pH value, concentrations of ethanol and Tween 20 on the enrichment ratio and recovery of cells were examined and some useful data were presented.
