%X The theoretical packing fraction of the bundle of optical fibers which are arrayed in hexagon with round end-tip is calculated by two methods,and the value of packing fraction was 90.69% which was the same as the value of bundle of optical fibers that were arrayed in hexagon with rectangle end-tip.When an optical fiber bundle was made of a large-core polymer optical fiber or a liquid-core optical fiber,the value of packing fraction was 100%.In the range of visible light or ultraviolet light,it is much more ...
