%X Gas holdup is measured in a pressurized bubble column 0.3 m in diameter and 6.6 m in height. The effects of surface tension, viscosity and pressure on gas holdup are investigated. Gas holdup decreases with the increase of surface tension and viscosity, but increases with the increases of pressure. An empirical correlation is also presented.
