%X Based on adaptive motion compensated interpolation ,a fast frame rate up-conversion algorithm was presented.Motion estimation was performed on pyramid structure data and the motion vectors of higher layer were corrected by the motion vectors of adjacent blocks,which would reduce computational complexity and obtain smooth motion vector field.In order to avoid over-searching and under-searching,the size of search window was designed to be adaptively adjusted.The limitation of conventional algorithms is overcomed in the implementation of motion compensation by using only one interpolation method,and different interpolation techniques are adopted according to the reliability of motion vector.The block artifacts in the block boundaries are reduced by applying overlapped block motion compensation method.In occlusion regions,a weighted multiple candidate motion compensation is employed to reduce block artifacts.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm reduces the computational complexity and obtains a better interpolation frame compared with the conversional algorithms.
