%X The minimum spouting velocity of multi-size glass bead mixtures was investigated in a rectangular-slot spouted bed with slot air entry, the width of which varies from 2 mm to 6 mm. The experimental results of single and multi-size particle mixtures show that the minimum spouting velocity of multi-size particles is related with particles diameter and size distribution in the particle mixture. In the present work, the maps of minimum spouting velocity for multi-size particle mixture were obtained, and the empirical relation for minimum velocity Ums was determined to be
