%X Based on the analysis of the interferential multispectral images,a new compression algorithm was proposed. The template matching algorithm in the wavelet domain was adopted to remove the redundancy between the two successive frames. The scheme adopted a ROI coding algorithm based on rate pre-allocated,with which the depth of T1 coding process could be controlled and the cost of computation and memory usage could be reduced. The proposed scheme is suitable for hardware implementation of interferential multispectral image compression system. And,the experimental results show that the proposed scheme achieves performance improvement over the conventional schemes in the interferential multispectral system.
