%X We presented parallel alignment liquid crystal (LC) devices for an application of Atmosphere Turbulence Simulator (ATS).A novel ATS with a parallel alignment LC TFT was fabricated.Based on theory of atmosphere turbulence simulation with Zernike polynomial,different turbulence wavefronts were produced with the ATS.And the results were measured with the Zygo interferometer.The produced wavefront based on the first 2nd to 8th Zernike polynomial were very good.The 231 Zernike polynomials were used to simulated atmosphere turbulence.The calculated result and experimented result were fitted very well.It indicated that the parallel alignment LC ATS was promissing to be used to simulate atmosphere turbulence.
