%X A novel all-optical packet header extraction technology using SOA-DI structure is presented in OTDM network.The technique uses SOA-DI structure for packet extraction that perform 2.5Gbit/s optical packet header and 40Gbit/s payload separation using DI interfere based on the gain saturation effect of SOA,extinction ratio of optical header extraction more than 16dB can be achieved.Through built theoretical model and numerical simulations,the operating characteristics of the scheme are illustrated.In addition,...
