%X The imaging equations are derived based on point spread function, the influence of detector on resolution is simulated, and the optimum pinhole radius is proposed. To demonstrate the theoretical calculation, the confocal imaging system is designed and established. The axial response is measured for different pinhole, and the in-focus and out-of-focus images of bar target are obtained with the confocal system.
