%X In solid state laser crystal,which is pumped in symmetrical trigonal mode by laser diode array,the temperature and stress distribution are calculated using finite element method at two different conditions:the materials properties vary with the temperature or not.The results show that thermal effect becomes serious due to the temperature dependence of YAG materials properties, which is more obvious with the increase of pumping power.So the variation of the material properties vs the temperature should be paid more attention during the designing process of the high power laser systems.
