%X Space debris is offals produced accidentally and deliberately while people are carrying out space activities and are no longer serving any function.It is the main pollution sources of the space environment.The space debris may stay in space for a long time and generate new smaller space debris because of its breakup caused by explosions and collision which then increase the threat to space vehicles,especially to manned space flights.Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (GEO) is the one and only orbit.Detecting the debris in GEO is necessary.Mathematics model of unilluminant space target in GEO is established.Based on the basic theory of radiation transmission,the relationships between lightness and detecting time and altitude are analyzed,and the relationships between detection ability and parameters of optics are demonstrated.The effect of stray light in system has been analyzed.The correctness of the model and formula are proved by test,so GEO target visual detection is feasible.
