%X An optical microcavity construction of planer photonic crystal was introduced. Using three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain method, the parameter in the planer photonic crystal and its impact on the optical microcavity performance were analyzed. The planer photonic crystal microcavity has small mode volumes and large quality factor, which can make efficient localization of light. The microcavity can be used to fabricate LED and laser of zero thresholds.
