%X A series of rare earth complexes with salicylate were synthesized and studied by infrared spectrum,ultraviolet spectrum,fluorescence spectrum. The results of infrared spectrum indicates that the rare earth ions coordinated with salicylate by carboxyl. As for ultraviolet spectrum of the complexes,energy transfer between salicylate and rare earth ions is the primary process;fluorescence spectrum,as a comparison,the complexes salicylate gadolinium (Ⅲ),salicylate terbium (Ⅲ),salicylate. dysprosium (Ⅲ)have higher efficiency of intermolecular energy transfer and stronger fluorescence character.
