%X The universal power selection methods of laser transpupillary thermotherapy make the eye fundus max temperature change with the irradiation diameter. In order to avoid the resultant thermal damage or lack irradiation in laser transpupillary thermotherapy, the eye fundus layer model is built and solved by two dimensions finite element method. The temperature response of laser induced retina and choroids is analyzed in theory. Under the same diameter condition the max temperature rise is directly proportional to the power and inversely proportional to transmission. So the power of achieving threshold temperature can be calculated from any power, based on which the quantitative relationship of diameter, transmission and threshold temperature is provided. The power calculated from such an equation can maintain the threshold temperature at different diameters.
