%X The relations of sub-apertures configurations with the imaging performance are discussed. A new spare aperture design named Equilateral Six Sub-apertures is proposed. This configuration is composed of six sub-apertures. Its construction and pupil function is given. In order to illuminate the imaging performance, the modulation transfer function of Equilateral Six Sub-apertures, Golay6 and MMT have been simulated respectively and compared with one another.
