%X The susceptibility to intergranular corrosion of 304L austenitic stainless steel was studied by CPE (constant potential etching) method. Then the results of CPE method were varified by EPR (electrochemical potential kinetic reactivation) method. It seems that CPE method could be developed into a quick method to detect the susceptibility to intergranular corrosion of austenitic stainless steels.
