%X In this paper,aluminizing process of 00Cr17Ni14Mo2 and 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steels has been studied by pack cementation.The composition,structure and morphology of the aluminized layers on the two steels were characterized by metallurgraphy,X-ray diffraction and SEM.The aluminized layer show multiplayer characteristics,and relatively uniform thickness and even interfaces between the layers and the substrate.The layer consists mainly FeAl phase and contains small amount of Ni 3Al.The effect of alloying element Ni on the aluminizing process was discussed.
