%X The influences of moisture content on corrosion behavior of carbon steel in neutral soil were studied by low\|polarization curve technique. It was found that both the corrosion current density and corrosion potential reached a constant value with the development of corrosion of carbon steel in soils with different moisture content. The invariable soil corrosion current density of carbon steel had a maximum value with the variation of moisture content. At the same time, the controlling characteristic of soil corrosion is discussed.
