张允书 %A 石声泰 %J 腐蚀科学与防护技术 %D 1993 %I %X The widely accepted fluxing model of hot corrosion is briefly described, and limitations of the model are clarified in terms of experimental evidences. On the basis of electrochemical nature of reactions involved in hot corrosion an electrochemical model is preliminarily proposed to elucidate its mechanisms. The rational aspects of the fluxing model as well as the general characteristics existing in high temperature gaseous corrosion and hot corrosion are considered in the electrochemical model.
