%X The effect of distance between cathode and anode and protection time as well as the number of sacrificial anode on the protection potential in fresh water at room temperature, in the case of A3 steel as the cathode and magnesium as the sacrifice anode have been studied. The cathodic protection was used on a device in Liaohua, and satisfactory results were obtained.
