%X The effects of heat - and chemical - treatments on corrosion characteristics of a NiTi alloy in 1% NaCI saline solution are studied by orthogonal method.The results show that the break through potential may be increased by pickling and passivation.Annealing decreases the free corrosion potential and current density markedly.Decocting processing seems have no effect on the break through and repassivation potential,but slightly reduces the free corrosion potential and current density.
