%X The corrosion behavior of solid metals in liquid metals was analyzed. The corrosion behavior of pure metals in liquid metals has two forms, solution and chemistry reaction. It is complicated for alloys in liquid metals. Alloys containing different elements follow different corrosion mechanisms. The research works about the corrosion behavior of liquid Li, Zn, Al and Mg alloys were summarized in this paper. Surface treatment such as boriding, PVD and NIPRE can improve the corrosion resistance of materials.Suggestions for further study of liquid metals corrosion were also put forward.
