%X The effect of mechanical loading on the oxidation behavior of alloys in high temperature environments has been reviewed. The mechanical loading may influence the dynamics, the selective oxidation, internal oxidation, grain boundary oxidation, oxidation products and oxide cracking. More work needs to be done in order to understand the interaction mechanism of oxidation and stress.
