%X The IR spectra which demonstrated distribution of SO 2- 4 anions during transportation to coating/metal interface were obtained at the cross section of coating/metal system by using IR microscopy with substration technique. It displayed applied prospect and significance of micro\|IR as a new method for the characterisation and study of the transportation the corrosive species in organic coating. The key point to perform the micro\|IR techique lies in obtaining an optic\|uniform cross section of coating/metal system.
