%X Protective properties of some general paints, such as alkyd paint, chlorinated rubber paint, chlorosulphonated polyethylene paint, epoxide paint etc have been investigated by indoor\|accelerated corrosion test and exposure to marine atmosphere. It was indicated that there are some differences in the form and extent of damage between indoor\|accelerated corrosion test and outdoor\|exposure test, but the ranking for the protectiveness of the paints is approximately identical.
