段子刚 %A 柴广跃 %J 光子学报 %D 2007 %I %X The feedback of external cavity formed by coupling fibers of SOA is constrained by introducing curved loss of active waveguide.The energy of feedback optical field is radiated greatly under the cost of partial loss for forward propagation field by introducing elaborately designed asymmetrical curved structure of active waveguide.It is shown from FDTD analysis,that under the condition of the same material gain and the same both input and output,compared with straight one,the feedback of asymmetrical cured active waveguide is reduced more than 10 dB,which results in the possibility of simple device structure of high performance SOAs. %K Semiconductor optical amplifiers %K Curved active waveguide %K Feedback constrain
