%X Ceramic\|lined pipes have been produced by using gravitational separation SHS process and the corrosion\|resistance of the pipes and the effects of two additives have been analysed. It was found that corrosion\|resistance of pipes was mainly related to crack density, content of metastable spinel phase in ceramic layer and relative density of the ceramics. Additives of SiO 2 and CrO 3 had duplex effects on corrosion\|resistance of the pipes respectively.
