%X A comparison of the SERS of Imidazole(IM), Benzotriazole(BTAH) and their mixture has been made for the first time. The coadsorption of IM and BTAH on the copper electrode was discussed based on SERS spectra. The experimental results indicated that SERS intensity of BTAH increases in the presence of IM.There is a strong synergistic action between the two corrosion inhibitors.SERS can be a useful surface analytical technique for the detection of interaction between inhibitor and metal surface.
