Huangbizhuang reservoir ( Hebei Province) along the eastern piedmont of Mt. Taihangshan. They fan, Middle Pleistocene rock fan (locally covered with gravels), Eaely Pleistocene red clay and gravel fan, Middle Pleistocene gravel fan, and Late Pleistocene, loess ana gravel fan. With the exception of the middle Pleistocene diluvial fan which is buried in the eastern part of region investigated, the other three fans are geomorphologieally conspicuous, and found to dip gently eastwardl, one covering the other, it shoving that the region under study is located in a broad flexure belt between the strongly uplifted.
