%X We analyze the application range of conventional matching filter in time-lapse seismic cross-equalization. The result indicates that this method can work very well when the inverse operator of the filter is the minimum phase. Generalized formula is derived for inverse filter with hybrid phase. And the method based on error criteria and iteration is proposed. The effectiveness of the method is tested though theoretical analysis and real data processing and compared with other methods.
